I am Nilsa Rivera, a licensed psychologist in Naples, Florida, born and raised in New York. With an undergraduate degree from Gannon University, a Masters from Indiana State University, and a Ph.D. (in Counseling Psychology) from Loyola University Chicago, I am graduate trained in the ‘scientist-practitioner’ model. I completed an APA accredited internship at Bellevue Hospital (Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center specialization)/New York University Medical Center in 1994.  I have received extensive training (coursework and clinical) in treatment, and evaluations (specifically, neuropsychological and forensic) since 1988.
